Enjoying dramatic views across the Brecon Beacons National Park, Great Campston is an imposing working estate, including deciduous woodland and pasture. We keep our own free-range hens and pigs, and the house has its own organic vegetable garden, from which we are always proud to offer our guests a seasonal selection of freshly-picked produce.

The Billiard Room is a self-contained two-bedroom stone cottage with views stretching for miles. Drawing the curtains, you will see the Skyrrid and Sugarloaf peaks, and the Black Mountains in the distance. This delightful scene guarantees a bracing start to the day - whether you find the mountains swathed in mist, or bathed in sunshine.

As well as placing you at the very centre of this astonishing landscape, your holiday based at The Billiard Room will give you access to some of Great Britain's most inspiring destinations. About 30 minutes away you'll find the thirty-odd specialist bookshops and thriving cultural life of Hay-on-Wye. Special events in the area include the Guardian Hay Festival of Literature, Abergavenny Food Festival, and the Brecon Jazz Festival. Riding and golf are well catered for, and of course you will be able to walk designated footpaths running through some of the most breathtaking countryside that the British Isles can offer.
